Commonly modern science explains the functionality of the body through the physiology and anatomy of our systems and organs and how they interact with each other, while in internal Chinese medicine functionality is just one aspect of what the ancients called Qi (energy). The totality of all physical functions are the closest thing to the equivalent of Qi (energy).

The learning and methodology of Nei Dan Dao through Qi Gong (Xing Qi Shu) and Tai Chi (Dao Yin Shu) increase the capacity for well-being, repair, self-healing, restoration and revitalization of the body even at very deep levels, generating biochemical changes and cell signaling, being able to modify the profile of hormones and neurotransmitters released™ and even the expression of DNA telomeres, this is currently known as epigenetics.

At the same time, harmonizing the human energy between Heaven (cosmos) and Earth (our habitat), macrocosm and microcosm is in permanent interaction. The energy of the cosmos is extremely powerful, therefore, if you do not understand how it works, you should not play with energy.

THE WHOLE IS GREATER THAN THE SUM OF ALL PARTS, that is Integral and Holistic Medicine. Daoist Medicine. Our body is our best healer, a microcosm in itself.
